Shaheed veer Bhagat Singh Part 2

Revisiting Bhagat Singh childhood

Bagat Singh was born in a family where every one was involved in freedom struggle. His grandfather got diksha directly from Swami Dayanand Saraswati to surrender his all to Mother India. During Uagna, his Grandfather said

I offer my grandson to nation as daan of the yagna. The family was greatly inspired by Arya Samaj

At age of 16 Bhagat Singh got marriage proposals, to which he left home and left behind letter saying as in pic bel.

Into the understanding revolutionaries

Bhagat Singh as teenager read through books of all revolutionary in world and paid equall importance to the the revolutionary in india at that time like Madan Lal Dingra, Veer Savarkar, and many others.

His publication Matwala had number of books and article published with names listed in below picture.

If these thpughts were induced in every student in school in clarity, maye be even problems like naxal wouldn’t have been prevalent.

Why am I atheist ,/ Nastik?

We have a habit of running into conclusions without understanding the gravity of truth, ideollogy behind the statement. Our lack of clarity of Bhat Singh and many revolutionary freedom fighters has resulted in the continuation to con , dynastic and corrupt parties to rule upon us. SHAME.

The essence of èvery revolutionary freedom fighters in India is only and only

BHARAT MATA KI JAI

OFFER EVERYTHING TO HER FEET TO SERVE HER AT EVERY COST

Here Bhagat Singh is having Agony over the state of Bharat mata and her children who are in extreme missery and poverty. Bhagat Singh is questioning from that perspective because h

His love for nation, its citizens, its future is greter than God. Hence questions the God himself.

This statement doesnt make Bhagat Singh a Marxist as many have labelled him.

Please look at him and all revolutionary through their glasses of love towards the Nation and don’t insultthem by classifying them.

Bhagat Singh got to know of Lenin few days before he was to be hanged, so it’s our complete foolishness to believe that Bhagat Singh is a Marxist.

If we read Urdu for litrature sake, certainly it would be wrong to link or judge us.

Bhagat Singh had cosidered Bharat mata as God and his beliefs are based on Bharat mata. So he is NOT an Atheist for he believed.

Bhagat Singh and Bhatukeswar ended their mission of life with this dedication and belief. They met death with a smile for they have grown so big in life that death was a medal to take on.

Did our Education erase the memories of the revolutionary fighter? When our country got freedom, there was great hope thaþ the education system would pull us out of misery. Moulana Abdulkalam Azad was made minister for education. We surely give credit to this miniter and then Prime minister for some good work but surely question their commitment to on many. Our education system was not allowed to educate young students of revolutionary fŕeedom fighters except those which Government wanted for brainwashing the vote bank.

With fear of people following violence may be government didn’t educate of these freedom fighters., but the blunder here is that we have to understand that this was against the British and in service of motherland. Government started brainwashing that only nonviolence got us freedom.

Bhagat Singh is not a political prop

He is a thought of sacrifice for nation, thought of prosperous days of poor, workers, farmers…

On 1931 Bhagat Singh and his freinds have protested to be labelled as communist in article as told in above picture.

Bhagat Sinh was from family that very strongly followed Arya samaj principles,

Bhagat Singh had grown so large that he now belongs to nation and not to party or group or samaj.

Bhagat singh was fuelled by patriotism and he himself became the fuel andthe inspiration for all Indians.

Bhagat Singh inpired by Shivaji, Guru Govind Singh, Garibaldi, Washington, Riza Khan from Afganistan, Kamal Pasha from Turkey, French revolutionary Lafayette and he learnt of Lenin in very end .

Bhagat Singh and his freinds had clearly understand that communist party said one thing and did something elsean that is reason they formed own party.

Netaji even refered to Bhagat Singh as soul of the Indial revolution of freedom.

Bhagat Singh stressed that when our young generation develop love for nation, willing to go extra mile and sacrifice for nation then nothing could stop Bharat Mata from achieving.

Shaheed Veer Bhagat Singh PART 1

Childhood and Early Life
Bhagat Singh was born on September 28, 1907, at Banga in Lyallpur district (now Pakistan) to Kishan Singh and Vidyavati. At the time of his birth, his father Kishan Singh, uncles Ajit and Swaran Singh were in jail for demonstrations against the Colonization Bill implemented in 1906. His uncle, Sardar Ajit Singh, was a proponent of the movement and established the Indian Patriots’ Association. He was well-supported by his friend Syed Haidar Raza in organizing the peasants against the Chenab Canal Colony Bill. Ajit Singh had 22 cases against him and was forced to flee to Iran. His family was the supporter of the Ghadar party and the politically aware environment at home helped incite a sense of patriotism in the heart of young Bhagat Singh.

What really put the fire of revolution against British was the Jaliawalabagh incident. Below clip tries to show what 11 year old Bhagat Singh would have felt as a child. Its said he travelled from Lohore to Amritsar, gathered soil with blood from Jaliawalabagh and kept offering it flowers everyday.

He discontinued his studies Lahore national college and started Navjivan Bharat Sabha .

He joined National College where he came in touch with great leaders like Swami Parmanand who who was all round incharge of

To tie him to a specific group or school of thought will be complete injustice to the personality of Bhagat Singh and what exactly he did in end to stand as becon for indians to take countryto freedom and beyond also inspire people to build a positive India.

Here he met revolutionary Sachindranath Sanyal who was from Bengal and had come to organise revolutary activity. Bhagat Singh had made his mind to become a revolutionary to drive out British.

Later he started to work at newspaper publication called Dainik Pratap. One of his atricles noted is based on Dasham Guru saying

With his inspired articles on patriotism, he came n contact with many other revolutionary like Azad. Kakori incident moved him deeply and he joined Hindustan Rebublic party.

We didn’t have bhagat singh in our syllabus, even when we did,so little is known which gives no inspiration to youth. Todays youth instead of taking him as Role model have ended up following Tukde gang or Movie models. Its shame upon us.

J P Sanders incident

Lala Lajpat Rai was lathi charged by British for a peaceful procession. A month later Lal scommbed to the injury. This made Bhagat singh very agitated and need for revenge with help of ChandraShekar Azad.

Revolutionaries declared , we shall take revenge

A year later they declare,

Revenge taken Blood for Blood with Sanders assassination

Parliament attack

Bhagat Singh along with Bhatukeshwar Dutt carried out bomb attack in the well of of the parliament. The bomb was very mild one and NOT to cause harm, it was rather to let British realize what Indians can do if need to drive British out.

They didn’t escape after attack even though they had all the opportunity. They rather happily surrendered.

Wath video in complete to understand.

An explosion is needed to move out the Deaf was heading of the pamphlets they distributed.

The bombs used by these revolutionary were sourced from Veer Savakars wing group ABhinav Bharat.

Tortures upon revolutionary wewre extreme. Jatin Das has borne 63 day fasting with circulation only around heart and reduced to 19 pounds at his death.

Bhagat Singh wenton for fasting upto 114 days and broke it with dal roti and not fruit juice.

On 23 May Bhagat Singh , Rajguru and Sukhdev were sentenced Hang to death.

Three sang this song as they were taken to the gallows to be hung till death.

They were not afraid of the consequences and passed on message:

We have done what we should to free India, it is now upon all Indians to be duty bound to not only take her to freedom but establish her as beacon to entire world.

His jail dairy is probably one of best places to look at to understand him. He even had predicted that the current congress government is hollow with corruption and only later generation would value the sacrifices of martyrs like him and the the real rise of India wouldcome into existence. Congress as matter of fact kept away Bhagat Singh story of sacrifice and it came to be light again in 1981. Congress even went to extent of labelling him a terrorist.

Swami Shraddhanand – The Unknown Mahatma

18 Mar 2019 18:35:12

When the word ‘Mahatma’ is used the name that comes to mind instantly, by Indians and foreigners alike, is that of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. However there is another person, rarely referred to in India’s history books, who is hailed with the title Mahatma. The man is Mahatma Munshi Ram, a freedom fighter, educationalist, follower of the Arya Samaj and a committed sanyasi.

Video gives us insight of mahatma who dedicated his life for the uplift of society.Do readcthrough entire article because understanding mahatma need greater. patience

Childhood

Munshiram was born in village Talwan of Punjab’s Jalandhar district in 1856 in a well to do Punjabi Khatri family. His father Lala Nanak Chand worked for the East India Company.

Munshiram started his school education at Varanasi. Since his father had a transferable job Munshiram was bereft of formal education in the formative years of life. He started pursuing Law which was interrupted because of his father’s transfers to places like Mirzapur and Bareilly where relevant education facilities were not available.

A little lack of attention from a busy father and excessive indulgence in affection of a doting mother resulted in the young Munshiram leading a wayward life. If there was a fall guy around, it was indeed he. What a miracle that such a man reformed himself to his finger tips and rose in stature in the public esteem to become a Mahatma.

Because of his wayward ways be began to get involved in activities that were not really accepted by society. Munshiram came across a few instances of injustice in Hindu society which made him renunciate Hinduism. This made him an atheist and do things which took a toll on his family and wife.

A Meeting that Changed his Life

One day Munshiram met Swami Dayanand Saraswati, founder of the Arya Samaj, by chance. His father was making arrangements for an event in Bareilly, and there were some important personalities and officers attending. Munshiram went to spoil the arrangements of the event but ended up being impressed by the influencing speech and courageous personality of Dayanand Saraswati. What followed was a long intellectual discourse with Swamiji on socio-religious matters.

So inspite of having practiced as a lawyer at Phillaur and Jalandhar he gave up this lucrative profession also when a call came from Swami Dayanand Saraswati to serve the Arya Samaj.

The seed sown in the United Provinces germinated and flowered in the Punjab. Munshiram, the fall guy, was transformed into a man with a mission who ascended the pedestal of a Mahatma. It was also a turning point in the religious and political history of India which was struggling for freedom from the British Empire.”

His life with Arya Samaj

Munshiram carried out various social activities at Arya Samaj that also included women’s education. In fact, he released a series of articles on women’s education in a newspaper where he explained the need for their education.

When he saw his own daughter, Ved Kumari, coming under the influence of Christianity because of studying in a Missionary run school he decided to provide children, devoid of missionary influence, schools runs by the Arya Samaj. This made him start the first Kanya Mahavidyalaya in Jalandhar. Note that the author’s mother studied here.

After Swami Dayanand Saraswati, founder of the Arya Samaj, passed away in 1883 his followers the Aryas of Punjab decided to commemorate his contribution by opening a chain of schools and colleges that would make students proud of their Vedic Dharma.

It was with that intent that the Dayanand Anglo Vedic School was founded in 1886 at Lahore. That was a big project where all Arya Samajis worked hard, put their heart and soul into this project.

Later on, Munshiram and Pundit Gurudatt felt that the Anglo element in DAV school was dominating the Vedic element. So they started the Gurukul system of education. Munshiram spearheaded this movement. It however, resulted in a split between DAV and Gurukul systems.

The first Gurukul started at Gujaranwala in modern day Pakistan in the year 1900. “
Twenty young boys formed the first batch of Brahmacharis (that is how students of the Gurukul are addressed). Among the pioneers were the two sons of Munshiram Ji – Harishchandra and Indra.

Later it moved to Kangri near Haridwar. Its intent was to produce disciplined citizens who imbibed Vedic ideals and had a national outlook.

His Role in India’s Freedom struggle

Munshiram played a very prominent role in the freedom struggle. He joined public agitations that were started by Gandhiji in 1919. By virtue of his personality he connected with the masses across various sections of society. He organized ‘hartals’ against the Rowlatt Act. When Gandhiji was arrested he led a protest march. When a soldier threatened to fire upon the crowd, Swamiji bared his chest and challenged the soldier to shoot.

When Punjab was writhing under the pains of atrocities by the British Government under martial law, it was Swami Shraddhanand who came forward to make arrangements for the Congress session at Amritsar. In this historic session, he introduced the program for eradication of untouchability that was adopted”.

Mahatma Munshiram made a debut in the world of journalism with his writings in Urdu and Hindi on both religious and social subjects. Propagation of the Vedic Dharm was his mission and he never deviated from this path. Following in the footsteps of his mentor, Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the Mahatma gave precedence to Hindi in Devnagari script in his writings. His paper, Sadharm Pracharak, was initially published in the Urdu language and became very popular. Later on, notwithstanding a financial loss, he chose to change over to Hindi in the Devnagari script which in the then Punjab was considered to be a language of women folk alone. The Mahatma’s editorial comments on burning topics of the day carried weight and influenced the public opinion.

Becoming a Sannyasi

In 1917 Munshiram became a Sanyasi, came to be known as Swami Shraddhanand and shifted his base to Delhi. Here he started a number of institutions for social, moral and cultural upliftment of people esp. the untouchables. He also started two newspapers, the TEJ in Urdu and ARJUN in Hindi.

The cause of upliftment of the downtrodden and the Shuddhi movement i.e. bringing back to the Vedic Dharm those men and women who had strayed into other religious folds, was very dear to his heart. He worked for both relentlessly and laid down his life at the altar of the Shuddhi”.

He always stood in the front line of the Arya Samaj movement and made the Arya Samaj a power and contributed to its popularity by his disinterested work and exemplary practical life. His towering and inspiring personality was a source of eternal inspiration. He believed in Hindu-Muslim unity from the very beginning.” 1

It was in 1919 that a huge crowd of Muslims had gathered at Delhi’s Jama Masjid in order to protest against oppressive British policies. Swamiji was invited to address the Muslims. His speech ended with Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti to which the crowds said Aamen.

Conflict between the Two Mahatmas

Swamiji and Gandhiji together worked for the freedom of the country. But as time passed, there started a conflict between two of them.

The first conflict was regarding untouchables. Swamiji proposed a program to help the untouchables and remove the untouchability in one of his speeches at the Congress. But that being led by Gandhiji was decided that it was not the appropriate time to start the program. Swamiji was disappointed with Gandhi’s negligence in this matter. Swamiji resigned from the Congress because of disagreements with Gandhi.

Another conflict between them was about Hindu-Muslim unity. Swamiji supported Hindu-Muslim unity. Whereas Gandhiji’s approach was different, some call it appeasement as was witnessed during the Khilafat Movement and Moplah Rebellion.

Death of the Forgotten Mahatma

So notwithstanding Swamiji addressing Muslims from the Jama Masjid in 1919 the situation changed because of Shuddhi Movement.

The dramatis personae are the Malkana Rajputs in the Mathura-Agra belt of the United Provinces. Long ago they had been forced by the Moghuls to convert to Islam. Yet they had retained their cultural distinctiveness. Swami Shraddhanand Saraswati saw a golden opportunity to encourage them to return to the religious fold of their forefathers.”

The mission of Shuddhi of the Malkana Rajputs was a roaring success, notwithstanding strong opposition of no less a person than Mahatma Gandhi himself. Maharana of Mewar and Pundit Madan Mohan Malviya rallied to the support of Swami Shraddhanand Saraswati. The movement gained momentum. Muslims could not bear it.

Though Swamiji worked all his life for the betterment of the people and the country, his death was most unfortunate.

😢😭

On 23rd December Abdul Rashid visited Swamijis home in Naya Bazaar Delhi. He conveyed that purpose of the visit was to have a brief discussion on Islam with Swamiji. During the visit, he was covered with a blanket, none suspected that he might have hidden a gun inside. He waited for the opportunity and asked one of Swamiji’s followers for a glass of water. During that very moment when no one was around, Rashid shot Swamiji. Hearing the gunshots people assembled there immediately. But Swamiji was no more. Rashid was hanged but that would not get Swamiji back.

It would be interesting to know what Gandhi said after the murder of the great proponent of the Shuddhi movement Swami Shraddhananda.

Pattabhi Sitaramayya wrote, “At the Gauhati Congress Session of 1926, Gandhi expounded what true religion was and explained the causes that led to the murder. Now you will perhaps recall why I have called Abdul Rashid (the murderer) my brother and I repeat it. I do not hold him guilty but Guilty are those who excited feelings of hatred against one another”.

There was a statue of Swamiji in front of Delhi Town Hall after independence. Inspite of his numerous contributions Swamiji did not get the fame or credit that he deserved. No one even knows him as Mahatma.

Thus, he became an unknown Mahatma.

Foreign trips and MoUs signed (Part 1): Read how 5 years of Modi trumps 10 years of Manmohan Singh

Foreign trips usually mean tourism, business or education but for a few, it means diplomacy, trade andinternational relations. These people occupy the highest chairs in their respective nations. Leaders often visit foreign countries and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is no different. But sometimes, unfortunately, these foreign trips become a pointless political debate. Whether it was the PM Modi’s visit to the white house or a surprise visit to Pakistan, he was often blamed of ‘wasting the country’s resources for photo-ops’ or ‘publicity’. His critics don’t seem to fully understand or appreciate the strategic importance of these visits. These debates claim that Modi has taken more trips during his 5-year tenure than what Dr Manmohan Singh has taken in 10 years of his tenure.
In this article, we will do an impact assessment of foreign trips by our current Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and evaluate their effectiveness for our country.
To study the effectiveness, apart from a number of trips, we need to look at other factors such as which PM has a higher count of signing MoUs, who had more impact on their visits and cost analysis of total trips. So we shall see both the reports presented and compare the statistics in conclusion.

Manmohan Singh had managed to construct a solid framework within which foreign policy initiatives were pursued by his government. Some of the major steps taken during his tenure included the civil nuclear cooperation with US, India-ASEAN free trade, border talks with China and negotiations on Kashmir with the then President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf. The India-Japan relations had lost some of its momentum after Shinzo Abe was out of power.
Manmohan Singh was of the opinion that India’s economic rise and its regional and global profile would increase India’s standing within the international community. Manmohan Singh also stressed that the foreign policy should evolve from time to time in response to the changing realities of the world. He emphasized on India’s economic interests, its economic relations with the other Asian economies, other developing and developed economies to shape Indian Foreign Policy
One notable observation in the above table is that Manmohan Singh had signed multiple MoUs with Myanmar regarding Trade, Border security and agriculture. But this wasn’t effective to keep out Rohingya refugees and created a massive refugee crisis within Indian borders.
MoUs were signed with China for border security, trans-border rivers and development of sister relations of Indian cities with Chinese cities. These cities included Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata. However, these cities continue to face the challenges of pollution, traffic congestion and encroachments irrespective of any pacts being associated with them.
If we analyze the visits of the former prime minister, he has travelled a lot but much of his overseas trips have failed to create any association with the foreign nations. Considering his reign of 10 years, his work could have tilted towards Asian Summits which deals with more important matters like climate control, peace treaties and global policies.
We can say that Manmohan Singh has failed to create an impact that India needed to convert with benefits from other nations. We are talking here about the most qualified prime minister across the World, who once changed the financial policies of our nation to provide us stability in distressed times.
Modi Wave
The onset of the Modi government saw a great appeal for overseas relationships. We will be including only the major ones below.
MoUs signed by Narendra Modi in 2014
Country: Myanmar
Date: 11–13 Nov
MoUs Signed:

Conclusion
We present a table below comparing the number of total trips and countries visited by Manmohan Singh and Narendra Modi. The table below gives region wise breakup of trips made by Manmohan Singh during his two terms and by Narendra Modi in during his present term.
As we conclude, there are a few key points every Indian and every voter must be cognizant of:-
Total number of trips made by Modi is 94 which is in fact even lower than the total trips made by Dr Singh in UPA-2’s regime
In his tenure, Narendra Modi has ensured that he clubs the visit to nearby nations saving the country immense time and money. For instance, in 2015 Modi visited China between 14th-16thMay but also covered South Korea and Mongolia in the same week unlike others who made no such attempt
In terms of signing international deals, Narendra Modi has delivered 322% more than Manmohan Singh (Narendra Modi- 129 MoUs and Manmohan Singh – 40 MoUs) at only 18% additional costs (Narendra Modi 42 Cr and 35.4
Cr).
In his trips, Modi has covered 30% more nations further expanding and enriching India’s global presence and footprint
The past 4 years have seen a drastic improvement in India’s bilateral ties with major nations such as the US, UK, Russia, Israel and Japan.

6. Apart from the numbers or the quantitative aspect (number of trips, countries visited etc.), Modi has achieved remarkable success at the qualitative aspects of the trips measured by our bilateral relations, international support, number of MoUs, trade ties etc.
There are 10 countries including major economies such as Spain, Australia, Switzerland that have been visited after 10 years by an Indian Prime Minister
It is for the first time that an Indian PM visited Israel- a country whose intellectual prowess, strategic importance and global influence, even the US takes note of. Modi’s visit to Israel yielded multifarious benefits including but not limited to collaboration in the startup ecosystem, defence ties, improved relations and cooperation.
(Note: We have tried to cover all the important MoUs signed by both the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Prime Minister Modi. We have not included the recent MoUs signed by Prime Minister Modi in his visit to South Korea.
We have sourced our information from publicly available references. If we have missed an important MoU signed either by former PM Manmohan Singh or PM Modi, we would be obliged to incorporate the information in this article if brought to our notice.)

You Vote (PART 2) _ Your Right, duty and power. Voter for Security and Development

Value of our vote

When we compare past and present government ; Their work towards progress, development, security, foreign affairs, good governance and other key areas ; It is obvious that our country is in cusp of becoming a major player in global front in every direction.

Any government which doesn’t have complete majority, doesn’t have strong leadership, weak government which have weak policies, which can’t take strong/tough decisions will send the progress, development, security of country backward by many years and corruption will hollow the country. Our image as a country hence will take a serious beating.

If last 5 years, the center government which had complete majority and very strong leadership under Prime Minister, outr country has witnessed progress, groth and ongoing decline of corruption. Today we are 6th largest economy and in cusp of becoming 5th ecnomic power. We need to have a continuation of the strong governance undel powerful leadershipof Prime Minister who is able , clean, pays due attention to security of sountry and takes all region, people in path of progress, commited towards duties towards the nation.

We citizens must give such government with strong prime minister an absolute majority and hence secure bright future of the country.

In democracy, every single vote is vital and decisive. Missing an opportunity to vote by even one person, should we considered as the opportunity missed to help country wich we dont get always. So not voting is in a way waste of life and disservice to nation.

NOTA

Pressing NOTA doesn’t serve the purpose of providing the best available government and is exactly what the forces like naxal, terrorist, separatist want you to do inorder to have weak government.

Eveyone must use their right + duty + power to vote.

The Holy Festival of Democracy

For the first time we have got adult franchise, and unless the people exercise or are able to exercise their franchise in a proper intelligent manner, the working of the democracy would be difficult, and we stand to lose a great deal”
– Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel while addressing the pressmen at Trivandrum on May 13, 1950

The festival of colours, Holi, is around the corner and the atmosphere is filled with the holier festival of democracy, General Elections. Though these two festivals have different connotations and context, they share stark similarities and deliver interesting messages to us as a nation.

Holi is the festival of happiness and colours. ‘Don’t feel offended; it’s Holi’ is the normal cliché used across Bharat. To our friends and family members, we even compel to come out and participate in the festival. Innovative ways are employed to spring a surprise to our friends. Habitually, whenever anyone is celebrating Holi, they tend to come and colour you. It is good to not mind and enjoy the celebration, even the enmity or grudge, if any, should be forgotten or cleared, is the message that we cherish from time immemorial. The Holika Dahan, the burning of fire, also symbolises the eradication of the evils from environment and system. The Holi also signifies the change of season, end of the year and seasonal cycle in Bharat and a new beginning with new aspirations. The multiplicity of colours on our faces also eradicates the artificial differences and disseminates the sense of equality.

The General Elections of Bharat are not less colourful, whether campaigning, issues, slogans, flags or rallies, everything is very colourful. People also enjoy the election season with joyous enthusiasm. The adult franchise bestowed by the Constitution makers in one stroke established the principle of ‘One Person, One Vote’, ensuring equality of political participation for every adult irrespective of caste, creed, gender or religion. The democratic exercise also brings new hope, new aspirations for electorates of all shades, maybe for varied reasons. The elections also allow us to think about the cleansing of the system and come up with the new ideas for clean, accountable and participatory governance. For which, we are also expected to point out the loopholes in the system that should be eradicated by the forthcoming government. The political parties campaign fiercely and many times even cross the line while attacking the opponents. The slugfest of allegations and counter-allegations is enjoyed by voters to a certain extent. ‘Don’t feel offended; this is election’ is the underlying message of democracy.

So amidst stark similarity, there are common rules that we should follow in both the festivals. Do not hit below the belt, maintain dignity while playing colours and asking votes, so that the atmosphere is not vitiated. Though criticising each other is inevitable, do not turn it into enmity. Politicians are also expected to take the criticism with the right spirit of democracy. The rules of fairness, enshrined in the Model Code of Conduct, are for everyone and should be followed in letter and spirit. Election Commission of Bharat is known for undertaking this massive exercise with the best acumen; it is the duty of all the constituents to respect the institution and mechanisms set by the same. Electorates should discuss, deliberate and spread awareness about the most sacred duty of democracy. As Gandhiji said, ‘duty is nothing but corresponding right’, so if we expect a responsible government that will protect our rights, then we have to perform our duty of voting. Do not miss Holi and do not evade participation in the holier festival of elections. Convince not force, educate not irritate, enjoy not vitiate is the common thread of message for us both for the Holi and Elections. So Happy Holi and Happy Electioneering!
